I also often work with individuals who have a unique relationship with the sense of belonging — whether to family, workplace, various social or cultural groups, or even one's own body or life.

I am bilingual in English and Japanese, and living between languages and cultures is an additional area of my specialty, both clinically and academically. I have published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at international conferences.

Asian, POC, LGB, female-identifying, and AFAB clients often seek me out, as well as those who have had disappointing experiences with prior therapy. I have also worked with numerous individuals in academia, science, and the arts. I can also conduct psychotherapy in Japanese.
